That’s the provocation for The Gamers’ Club, in which gamer and playwright Lucy Prebble (author of Enron and The Effect) talks to Pat Kane (curator of FutureFest and author of The Play Ethic). The Gamers’ Club on Thursday 13 July, 7.30pm Leading scientific and cultural figures will explore how today’s cutting-edge ideas, discoveries and inventions inspire the literature, art and games of tomorrow- and vice versa. New Scientist presents a series of conversations on the themes of the Barbican’s landmark exhibition, Into the Unknown.
